Overview

D671X plastic wafer butterfly valves are all-plastic anti-corrosion butterfly valves engineered for heavily corrosive, normal-temperature, low-pressure and clean chemical working conditions. Different from metal body butterfly valves with metal hard seals or fluororubber soft seals, their valve bodies are integrally injection-molded from engineering plastics such as UPVC, CPVC and PPH, matched with an integral rubber soft sealing structure.

Adopting a concentric wafer design, the valve disc rotates 90° via hand lever actuation to achieve pipeline shut-off and simple flow regulation. No worm gear transmission is required, delivering an ultra-simplified structure with direct operation. No metal parts come into contact with process media, thoroughly eliminating issues including corrosion, scaling, rusting and leakage caused by acid, alkali and salt solutions. Rated for PN10 nominal pressure, it suits heavily corrosive fluid services at ambient temperature.

Widely adopted in chemical pickling, electroplating, wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical production, swimming pool water treatment and light industry anti-corrosion pipeline systems, it serves as the economical mainstream valve choice for low-pressure highly corrosive conditions.

1. ·  All-plastic anti-corrosion structure with outstanding resistance to heavy corrosion The valve body and disc are integrally made of high-strength anti-corrosion engineering plastics with zero metal wetted parts. It can withstand long-term exposure to highly corrosive media including hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, alkaline liquid, brine and wastewater. Rust, oxidation and medium contamination are completely eliminated, making it ideal for various corrosive fluid conveying applications.

2 ·  Concentric soft-seat design with excellent sealing performance It adopts a classic concentric sealing structure with the valve seat fully wrapped in rubber. When closed, the disc fits tightly against the seat for leak-tight shutoff, meeting sealing standards for water supply, drainage and chemical anti-corrosion systems, with zero internal leakage under low-pressure conditions.

3  ·  Multiple optional actuators for simple and reliable operation Designed without conventional worm gear assemblies, the valve can be directly driven by hand lever, pneumatic or electric actuators. It delivers fast, straightforward opening and closing with minimal commissioning and maintenance requirements and ultra-low failure rates, suitable for pipelines requiring frequent on-off cycles and basic flow regulation.

4  ·  Lightweight wafer design for easy installation Standard wafer connection delivers compact dimensions and extremely light weight. No flanged welding is needed; the valve is simply clamped between two pipeline flanges. Installation, disassembly and replacement are time and labor efficient, perfect for old pipeline retrofits and compact pipe sections.

5  ·  Precision matched for normal-temperature and low-pressure service Rated for PN10 nominal pressure with an operating temperature range of 0℃ to 60℃. Purpose-built for water treatment and chemical anti-corrosion processes at ambient low temperatures, it avoids premature failure caused by metal valve corrosion and greatly extends service life.
